Wishbone Cafe in Montgomery

Nice spot for lunch and dinner, I am not sure if they served breakfast (guess I'll have to go back and look take another look at the menu 🤤). Food was good, very delicious. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. I think their AC broke or something because it was very hot in there, but I didn't really notice because I was too busy demolishing my shrimp poboy with 🥗.

Food was a little slow coming out of the kitchen, but it was delicious and the staff was courteous.

Best shrimp ever. Collard green soup is amazing. A tropical tasting tea - delightfully refreshing. All around very pleased and will definitely take the hour and half drive to return.

AMAZING! Wishbone Cafe is by far one of the best meals in Montgomery! They offer you a sample of their signature sweet tea, but go ahead an order a glass because it's that good. Everything on the menu is appetizing an it tastes just as goods as it sounds.

My wife and I had the opportunity to visit this fine establishment on 2/14/20. To be honest it wasn't out first choice only because we planned on going somewhere else but when those plans feel through, we decided to try this place out. The atmosphere is great and the live music was entertaining. The food was a letdown. It wasn't bad but I've somewhat have became a self titled steak connoisseur and so when I ordered it medium, knowing full well it would come out closer to medium well, I was a bit let down that it came back well/(barely any pink). You ask, why do they still get five stars? That's easy, the service. We had the pleasure of sitting at the bar and being served by D. She was prompt and very courteous. It was busy but she never forgot about us. I'm currently putting the groundwork down to open a restaurant in Montgomery and I'll probably look to poach her from you all. That said, well definitely return. Thanks for great evening.

Great Cajun and Southern food! Boardroom Burger is one of the best in town. Make sure to try their flavored tea that they offer samples of! You will want to take a gallon home with you!

Very small place with open cooking area. We were greeted with a small glass of their special tea which is very sweet and good. We had good service but it's such a small place that it's easy to get their attention. I had the shrimp salad and was amazed at how much flavor it had (most of the food is Cajun style). This is a very informal place but the food was top notch.

Just picked up my call-in order for the Boardroom Burger and was highly disappointed.......first of all it clearly says on the menu that it comes with steak sauce and Cajun bread. Mine had neither. Just a burger with cheese served on light bread 🤦🏾‍♂️......not only that these fries are ice cold which shouldn't be if I placed a call-in order and arrived before the designated time for pick up! Y'all won today but never again!

Excellent service. They great you with samples. The samples were the Wishbone Cafe Signature Tea which was delicious, not to sweet just right. Also had the collard green soup, which was awesome, it was made with no meat. The stuffed chicken breast was delicious, the chicken was not dry, the rice had a great sauce and broccoli spears very tasty. The Bayou Classic had great crab cakes and jumbo shrimp. The Dr. Sullivan's Chicken Salad was amazing. We got it warmed up a little. It was not too sweet. It was just right. To be honest all the food was delicious. They had great portions sizes and even better prices. The staff was awesome and very helpful. We had a party and the staff helped setup the tables. They were very tentative. When you come here you will not be disappointed, it is truly worth it.

So far not impressed. Willing to try again at a later date. Cashier/Greeter says they were short handed. Ordered a club and got three slices of white(light) bread,processed cheese product, tomato, lettuce, a healthy portion of turkey and ham, smushed and heated. But for 9 bucks I definitely feel Like I should’ve gotten a better bread selection and presentation. Chip or fry option and drink included. I could’ve made this sandwich at home for around a third of that.
